In the situation of rising tensions between India and China, the Indian government has issued an announcement of prohibiting 59 Chinese apps, including a certain mobile games. “On the basis of these and upon receiving of recent credible inputs that such Apps pose threat to sovereignty and integrity of India, the Government of India has decided to disallow the usage of certain Apps, used in both mobile and non-mobile Internet-enabled devices.”

They also added that this move would safeguard the crores’ interests of Internet and mobile users in India. The decision is a significant move to ensure Indian cyberspace’s sovereignty and safety.
