PUBG Mobile Erangel 2.0 Officially Launched In Chinese Server

PUBG Mobile enthusiasts have been waiting for the PUBG Mobile Erangel 2.0 map to appear in the game for quite some time. Even though a teaser of the map was introduced a long time ago, none of next versions received the Erangel 2.0 update.

For players who might not know about the Erangel 2.0, it’s a renovated version of the classic Erangel map that comes with improved and enhanced graphics.

PUBG Mobile Erangel 2.0 Release Date

The PUBG Mobile Erangel 2.0 has been announced to come out on June 17, 2020. Nonetheless, it is only available in PUBG Mobile Chinese server, Game for Peace at this time. Perhaps after several months of beta testing, the game developers would let the new map premiere in global server.

Along with the official trailer of the PUBG Mobile Erangel 2.0, a moderator of the official Discord server of PUBG Mobile, Daniel Mu, did answer a query regarding the arrival of the Erangel 2.0 map in the global version as follows:

“Please know that the new map which is in progress, Erangel 2.0 is very important to us considering that the classic battle royale is at the heart of PUBG Mobile and we want to make sure to deliver the best experience possible for our players.”

Besides the new PUBG Mobile Erangel 2.0 map, Tencent Games will also introduce a new Payload Mode 2.0 into the game. It’s rumored that the Payload Mode 2.0 will come with some new additions like anti-bomb suit, UAV Drone, EMP, and portable radars like Call of Duty: Mobile. However, some might be disappointed at the absence of the helicopter in the forthcoming Payload Mode 2.0 though no official words on this yet.
